My name is Danny Hernandez. I purchased a Mega Bass Strap at this year's NAMM show.

I just wanted to reach out to you and let you know that I really am loving this strap! It feels great and is super comfortable. I'm a touring bassist and MD for 2 Integrity Music Artists and do a lot of session work so I spend alot of time with the bass strapped on and this strap is definitely going to help me. I bought 1 at the show to try it out, but will be buying a few more for my other basses.

"...the fact that I actually played bass for the majority of that night, and did not have to move the bass around on my shoulders, or even take it off between songs to give myself a break was probably the best thing since sliced bread. Being that I prefer to play jazz basses, and being that my preferred bass is somewhere around 9.5lbs, I obviously needed a 'big' strap to evenly distribute the weight. But the difference between my monstrous leather strap and your Mega Strap is literally night and day....and for me, there was NO pain at the end of the jam. The height of the strap is perfect, it locks securely...it's really just all kinds of awesome, and I want to thank you and your company for making something that's going to allow me to stand up and play bass comfortably for a while!" Wish I had one of these many, many years ago. Been playing for over 45 years now, and until now, the darn things always pulled on my shoulder and neck, but this strap is by far the most comfortable I have ever used!!! Distributes the weight very evenly and makes my guitar feel much lighter, allowing me much longer playing time, without fidgeting to get a comfortable feel from the strap. Amazing product...and USA made to boot!!!! Just a side note only rated a "4" on a couple because I just got it ...seems as though it will be durable enough, and I had to shorten the strap to accommodate my smaller size 5'9" was easy enough to do so the guitar wouldn't hang too low...This will probably be the last strap I will ever buy after I get a few more for my other guitars... I recently got a Mega Strap through Guitar Center, where I was perusing what they offered in big fat bass straps. I had not seen one locally in northern Virginia that inspired me, as fancy as some of them were. Was looking for comfort and quality, not bass bling.

I like to know who is behind the products I buy, and when I saw that Neotech is based in and makes in MONTANA USA, I had to buy and try. I have to admit a bias for anything from Montana. Nevertheless...

I agree with the first reviewer: the Neotech Mega Strap is the most comfortable bass guitar strap I have ever tried. There is just enough stretch in the neoprene to buffer any jarring motion and to remind you when you are leaning too hard on it, rather than feeling it in your shoulder or back.

The strap itself is light in weight, but made with good quality materials and workmanship. It is functional, plain black, not fancy, and just sort of disappears so no distraction from player or instrument. Black neoprene and tough leather stitched together, pretty basic and plain. Light as a shadow on your shoulder.

The leather is indeed hefty and of high grade. It took me awhile to pry and jam it onto the strap-lock system on my new bass. Would be nice to see something like your slick Slimline connectors on this strap.

I also agree with the previous reviewer that every bass needs one. I will buy more. Great strap. (posted on 11/12/11)

I owned one of these straps for years and I found myself moving it from bass to bass because of its comfort.
So then it hit me! Buy a few more!
So I have been going through the process of buying a MEGA STRAP for every bass I own.
I have never used a more comfortable strap-ever-period. The slight "bounce" that the neoprene gives when you moves around allows the guitar to feel more like an extension of your body rather than a big wooded weight hanging off of your shoulder.
The Mega Strap is longer than the Super Strap, and I think more appropriate for most bass players, unless you really like your bass high on your body.
My one wish in life (wink) IS TO ENDORSE NEOTECH MEGA STRAPS FOR ALL THE WORLD TO SEE!
I have found the perfect strap for me and it is great to know that I never need to experiment with bass straps ever again. BRAVO!
