The neoprene Brass Wrap™ improves a player's grip and increases comfort while protecting the instrument's finish from moisture and oils in the hand.
The Neotech Brass Wrap™ is the ideal accessory for those in marching bands or performers playing in a long gig. The neoprene Brass Wrap™ fits snugly on the instrument so that you get a firm and comfortable grip while protecting the instrument’s finish from moisture and oils in the hand. The non-slip backing keeps it securely in place while the touch fasteners allow for quick and easy removal for cleaning the instrument. The Brass Wrap™ can be washed in mild detergent and laid flat to dry. You no longer need to deal with smelly leather wraps that get slimy when your hand perspires making it even more difficult to effectively grip your instrument. The ultra-comfortable pad reduces grip fatigue and makes playing for long periods a pleasure, not a pain. Brass Wrap™ insulates your hand in both cold and hot weather while protecting against moisture so that you’re always assured a secure grip. This unique wrap keeps your instrument’s tone pure and your grip happy. Give your instrument a wrap!
The Neotech Brass Wrap™ is available in black in several styles: The Trumpet version fits most trumpets and cornets. The French Horn version is ideal for students playing Single French Horns. The French Horn-Large version is a comfortable fit for Double and Triple French Horns. Its larger size won’t interfere with the fourth valve and assures a secure and comfortable grip.

I have had several students who use the brass wrap, both on trumpet and horn.
Trumpet players love it. The added comfort for students is very helpful. It also protects against the inexplicable dings that end up finding their way to the valve casings on a school horn.
I would also recommend this to several of my colleagues who play the club scene- I have seen the lacquer torn away on the valve block of professional horns, mostly from the oils on their hands. This could combat that, and it feels nice, too.
The only issue I had was with the horn grip- make sure you know which wraps to buy! They come in different sizes. Check the proximity of your lead pipe to where the hand rests. If the wrap fits the horn properly, I would endorse it just the same as the trumpet wrap.
